Congratulations Austin Cochran

Congratulations to Senior Percussionist Austin Cochran. Austin won the Indiana Percussion Association Individuals Competition in the Multi-Tenor Caption at this year's IPA Clinic Day. Austin Performed Opie's Changes by Bill Bachman. Congratulations Austin on your state title.

Great Job Pep Band

Great Christmas Concert

Parent Meeting for Winter Guard / Winter Percussion

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for members of the Winter Guard and Winter Percussion. This will occur at 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 13th, in room 700.

Two great performances today.

First - FC Drumline did a great job performing at the Wanamaker Christmas Parade. Though the temperature was near freezing, the drumline put on an excellent performance. Thank you drumline!!!

Second - Tonight's Pep Band Performance was full of spirit and energy. We received several compliments about tonight's performance. Great job Pep Band. Go Flashes!!!

Reminder - All band members should complete two pep band performances by the end of the semester. Students going beyond the two pep band requirement will receive extra credit.

Extreme Pep Band Game

Reminder: Extreme Pep Band will play at the Saturday, December 1st, 2007 Basketball Game. Students should report to band room by 5:00 PM.

2007/2008 Band Composite Pictures

Bateman Performance Photographers will be at school on Wednesday, December 5th, 2007 to take composite pictures.

All participants in the high school band program including marching band, color guard, concert band, winter guard and winter drumline are to have their picture taken. Band members will wear band uniforms. Color Guard/Winter Guard members will wear fall uniform. Eighth graders involved in marching band or winter drumline will be able to have picture taken after school.

Pictures will be taken in high school band room.

Parents will be able to purchase a picture package. Information will be passed out in class and will be available in the band office.

Drumline to perform at Wanamaker Christmas Parade

The Drumline will march in the annual Wanamaker Christmas Parade. The Parade will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 1st. The Parade will begin at the Wanamaker CVS and conclude in downtown Wanamaker.

Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert is Tuesday, December 4th, 2007 at 7:00 PM
Tickets are $3.00 (ticket sales supports senior scholarship fund).
Concert will take place in the Franklin Central High School Robert Mason Auditorium.
All band members will perform. Ensembles include the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble.
There will be a general band booster meeting during the concert.
